The legal game “The trial of protection on family proceedings” was held with the 4th course cadets of Maritime Law and Management Faculty led by V.V. Sudakov, a lawyer, a member of the Ukrainian National Bar Association, a senior lecturer of Civil and Labour Law Department of NU “OMA” on December 9, 2016. The participants of the game considered the division of jointly acquired matrimonial property. The following cadets of Maritime Law and Management Faculty actively participated in the event: N. Vartanova, O. Kuznetsova, I. Mikhailenko, S. Shmigіna, I. Dolia, P. Jirina, N. Lavrenyuk, O. Ryabchenko, K. Halіlova .

O.V. Kostyr, Ph.D. in Law, Associate Professor of Maritime Law Department held the lecture on “Application of the Maritime Labour Convention on board: theoretical and practical aspects”. At the lecture, the ILO’s role was defined in the regulation of labour and social rights of seafarers. The normative legal acts, adopted under the ILO’s activity regarding the seafarers’ work were analyzed. Besides, the provisions of the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 were analyzed as well. The participants of the lecture defined the means and the degree of implementing the ILO’s standards on board.
