On June 13, 2018 a group of experts from the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (Great Britain) (IMarEST) arrived at National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” to hold another accreditation of engineering specialties under which the training at Marine Engineering Faculty, Automation Faculty and Electrical Engineering and Radio Electronics Faculty is provided.

The working group of experts included Tom Fanthorpe, Chairman of the Commission and the following members: William Megill and John Bartlett.

The main purpose of the visit was to confirm the training programmes for the above-mentioned specialties at the accreditation level – an incorporation engineer and a chartered engineer.
