On June 13, 2018 the delegation of the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Romanian Armed Forces to Naval Institute of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” to support the military dialogue and discuss topical issues, familiarize with the educational process of Naval Institute of NU “OMA” and identify priority areas for bilateral military cooperation.

During the visit, Ihor Voronchenko, Vice Admiral and Сommander of the Ukrainian Navy and Peter Goncharenko, Head of Naval Inіtitute, Captain of the 1st rank met with Vice-Admiral Alexandru Mîrşu, Commander of the Naval Forces of the Romanian Armed Forces.

Within the framework of presentation of Naval Institute, the excursion around the educational and material base of the University was held for the guests. Besides, during the meeting, the parties also discussed the prospective training of cadets of Naval Institute at the training ship of the Romanian Navy «Mircea».
