Visit of the representatives of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe and Council of Europe Office in Ukraine to NU “OMA”
On 2 September, 2021 the representatives of the Organisationfor Securityand Cooperation in Europe – H.E. Ambassador Henrik Villadsen, OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine and Mr. Steen Norlov, Head of Council of Europe Office in Ukraine visited National University “Odessa Marine Academy”. The meeting was aimed at further cooperation. The representatives met with the Rector, cadets and got acquainted with the university’s facilities. The topics for discussion were maritime security and the security sector, topical issues in the field of security were raised, and student actively participated in the meeting. Certificates were solemnly presented to the students of the OSCE courses who are the scientific and pedagogical workers and applicants for higher education. During the event, anexcursion aroundthe educational buildingswas held for the guests. The guests also visited the International Forum on Seafarers’ Education, Training and Crewing organized by National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” and the exhibition center “Odessa House”. NU “OMA” hopes for further cooperation with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Council of Europe Office in Ukraine.
