On September 7, 2021, National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” (NU “OMA”) was visited by a delegation of representatives of the Staff Center group of companies, headed by founder Vitaly Sergeychik and CEO Stanislav Sergeychik. The Academy and the Staff Center are linked by a long-term business partnership: with the support of the company, cadets and graduates of the Academy have the opportunity to receive practical training and employment on ships. During the visit, an agreement was signed to conduct various types of training for seafarers working in the company at the Institute of Postgraduate Education “Center for Training and Certification of Seafarers” of NU “OMA”, the Center for personal survival in extreme conditions at sea of NU “OMA” and the Training center of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System of NU “OMA” in accordance with the model courses of the International Maritime Organization.
