On March 31, 2017 Catherine Taylor, the representative of Marlins company arrived to visit National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» to meet with the Rector of NU «ОМА», the Heads of English Language Departments as well as to audit training centre “Marine Lingua”, which is an approved centre to provide testing for Marlins company and exchange experience in conducting English classes.

Marlins Test is an international test of English for seafarers, recommended by the UK MCA. The centres with a relevant certificate can conduct Marlins testing. Marlins Test pass is one of the main requirements for recruitment or promotion in most leading ship companies.
