National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» participated in the International Exhibition and Conference on New Technologies in the Field of Transport, Port Management, Logistics, Hydraulic Engineering, Lifting and Transport Equipment. «Inter TRANSPORT-2019» which took place in Odessa from 29 May till 31 May, 2019.
 The event was visited by transport intellectuals of Ukraine and abroad, partners, heads of enterprises, organisations of transport industry, cargo owners as well as the users of transport services. Coordination of activities was carried out by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Odessa Regional State Administration. The exhibition was opened by Raivis Veckagans, Director of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA); Igor Tkachuk, Chief of Odessa Sea Port Authority; Volodymyr Homanets, Head of Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Theodor Andreev, Transport Projects Manager, EU Delegation to Ukraine; Alexander Lesnik, Director General of the Association of Ports of Ukraine “UKRPORT”; Oleg Platonov, President of the Association “FIATA”. The leading ports of the Black Sea region, railways, forwarding companies, port and storage facilities, leaders in the field of hydraulic engineering construction, educational institutions presented their activities at the exhibition. «Inter-TRANSPORT» as a planned event of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Permanent International Secretariat (BSEC) was the focus of all Black Sea transport administrations. The event took place with the support and active participation of the leading industry professional associations and unions. Besides, a number of special events, forums, seminars and round tables were held during the event.
