On June 27, 2019 the graduation ceremony took place in National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» that is one of the most memorable events of cadets‘ life. From now on, the vast expanses of seas and oceans will be opened and awarded Bachelor‘s degrees will give the right to embark upon a career in the fleet and firmly uphold positions in the relevantbranches of maritime industry.

M.V. Miyusov, the Rector of NU «OMA», Honored Worker of Education in Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor congratulated the cadets on that special day and wished further success in continuing the education at the native walls of alma mater.

Besides, I.V. Safin, Director of “V.Ships” company, Allan Mohamed Awad, Deputy Minister of Fisheries in Yemen, graduate of 1982, I.V. Agofonikov, Chief of the Maritime Administration of the Fishing Port and others delivered welcoming addresses. 

I.V. Safin, the representative of “V.Ships” company presented the Cup named after Captain Valery Chizhov to Stengach Alexander as the best cadet in the year 2019 for the achievements in studies, initiative and active participation in extra-curricular activities of NU «OMA» and successful shipboard training in the company. In addition, tutors, parents, relatives and friends supported cadets. Sincere congratulations and wishes for prosperous future were heard from the guests.

S.I. Zaichko, Vice-Rector on Scientific-Pedagogical Work and International Activity held a solemn graduation of diplomas to foreign students. Mr. Sadin Ayyıldız, Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey presented the graduates with diplomas and certificates for significant achievements in studies at NU «OMA».
